Taster Visit
The relocatee might not be sure if they are going to accept the assignment they have been offered, without wanting to know a lot more about schools, housing, local facilities, transport and so forth. In most cases, the best way to set their mind at rest is to arrange visits so that they can take a look around the area and plan their assignment a bit more carefully before coming over.
K&K Relocation's taster days are individually designed information-gathering tours which will provide a better feel of what to expect in the area, helping to make that important decision that much easier. A tour of the targeted area is designed for the transferee & their family including an introduction to the various types of property, an overview of local schools, medical facilities, leisure activities and any other requirements needed.

The decision to take up an assignment, particularly overseas, can be quite a daunting one for most employees and other family members. They all need to be reassured about what they are moving to. If the family moves with uncertainties and concerns, they are likely to become true. It is better to accept an assignment with realistic expectations than to be disappointed after the move.
